J&J Corporate Internal Audit  is currently  recruiting for a IT Auditor located in New Brunswick, NJ.

Internal Audit's primary mission is to assist Johnson & Johnson management in ensuring that an effective system of internal controls exists. To this end, IT Auditors review information resources across the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies to evaluate the adequacy of internal controls and to develop recommendations for improvement. Information resources include business critical applications such as SAP, JD Edwards, and BPCS, as well as the related technology infrastructure, data, facilities, organizations, and processes. IT Auditors are responsible for the audit of moderately complex IT environments.  On occasion, an IT Auditor may be challenged with a more complex assignment or Team Coordinator role.  Typical audit activities include gathering and analyzing information to identify key risks and corresponding controls; systematically testing and evaluating controls to verify efficiency and effectiveness of operation, reliability of information, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations; recommending control improvements; communicating findings and recommendations to management; and documenting audit work using automated audit management tool(s). In addition to performing audit work, IT Auditors participate in Internal Audit improvement projects using appropriate methodologies – e.g., Process Excellence (PE).

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS), preferably in a Computer Science or related discipline, is required. A minimum of 1 year Information Technology, Information Management, or Audit experience in a corporate environment is required. An understanding of IT processes and technology, with demonstrated proficiency in one or more of the following areas is required:  program/project management, architecture, operations, applications (SAP, JD Edwards), support, information security, disaster recovery, and infrastructure (operating systems, databases, network, hardware, facilities). Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance is preferred. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 40% annually is required.
